All times in our meeting list are local. All meetings in USA states are now on Standard Time (ST) including Alaska, Arizona and Hawaii. When local standard time is about to reach Sunday, March 13, 2022, 2:00:00 am, clocks are turned forward 1 hour to Sunday, March 13, 2022, 3:00:00 am local daylight time instead. Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour later on Mar 13, 2022 than the day before. There will be more light in the evening. See some exceptions below.

Here are some time zones that are frequently seen in our schedule:

Africa (EAT)

EAT is East Africa Time, which is used all year.

Europe (CEST and CET)

CET is Central European Time, which is used only in the winter time. For the other eight months of the year, Europe uses CEST, or Central European Summer Time.

Iran (IRST and IRDT)

IRST is Iran Standard Time, which is used only in the winter time. For the other eight months of the year, Iran uses IRDT, or Iran Daylight Time.

India (IST)

IST is Indian Standard Time, which is used all year.

Israel (IDT and IST)

IST is Israel Standard Time, and IDT is Israel Daylight Time. IDT begins on the Friday before the last Sunday of March, and ends on the last Sunday of October. This may vary from the European time change by several days.

Russian Federation (MSK)

MSK is Moscow Time (моско́вское вре́мя), which is used all year, for most of western Russia.

United Kingdom (GMT and BST)

GMT is Greenwich Mean Time, which is the center of the global time zone system. It is only used in the winter time. For the other eight months of the year, United Kingdom uses BST, or British Summer Time.

United States (EST, EDT and ET)

A general abbreviation is MT for non-specific Mountain Time. Most Nicotine Anonymous meetings in the Rocky Mountains time zone are in Arizona, which does not observe daylight saving. So during the eight months of the year that most United States meetings display a "D" in their time zone, Arizona meetings will continue to display MST. On the other hand, Navajo Nation is in Arizona, and it observes daylight saving.

United States (PST, PDT and PT)

PST is Pacific Standard Time, which is only used in the winter time. For the other eight months of the year, the western United States use PDT, or Pacific Daylight Time. A general abbreviation is PT for non-specific Pacific Time.

HST is Hawaiian-Aleutian Standard Time, which is used all year in Hawaii. Alaska observes HST during the winter time. During the other eight months of the year, Alaska uses HDT, or Hawaiian-Aleutian Daylight Time. A general abbreviation is HT for non-specific Hawaiian-Aleutian Time.
